Rev. Carla McClellan is steeped in Unity. As a young woman, Carla's parents were leaders in the Unity movement, affording her the opportunity to learn from and experience many of Unity's most beloved teachers. Carla is a certified individual and organizational coach whose focus is awakening others to the preciousness of life.

With 30 years experience in health and healing professions, Carla safely and sacredly bridges the often divided worlds of spirituality and science. As the senior minister at Unity of Independence, Carla has integrated her organizational coaching techniques with Appreciative Inquiry to assist the church defining its strategic plan and begin developing lay leaders. Carla also teaches and coaches students and patients at Truman Medical Center's wellness clinic, working side by side with administrators in laying the groundwork for the development of a holistic health center.

Carla is a highly respected and beloved coach for Unity ministerial students. Her greatest joy is working closely with those who are courageously taking action on the dream within their heart.
