This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore originally delivered on Sunday, July 29, 1923, entitled “The Christ Consciousness of Increase.” Fillmore explores the Power of Will and relates to prosperity. This is a talk about calling Matthew who metaphysically represents the Power of Will, the ability to choose. In the talk, Fillmore relates the importance of denial and the importance of service in demonstrating prosperity.

This week we study Charles Fillmore’s talk given on February 22, 1931, titled “The Substance of Character.” It revolves around Luke 8:1 -15. This talk is about casting out demons, error thoughts, through the power of the word. He also explores the parable of the seeds being thrown on hard soil, amongst the rocks and amongst the thorns and on good soil. These represent states of consciousness that are not receptive to the seed ideas, Divine Ideas. However, we can rehabilitate them.

This week’s talk by Charles Fillmore was delivered on December 5, 1927, entitled “Condemnation Not an Aid to Salvation.” The main thrust is that we should not concentrate on condemning but rather concentrate on the Good. Concentrate on God, Divine Mind, consisting of Divine Ideas. Change your mind by focusing on the Good. We wrap up looking at the keys to demonstrating prosperity: Twelve Powers, peace, thoughts, feelings, the Power of The Word, denials, affirmations, blessings, praising and expressing gratitude, and patience. Then we begin looking at how we can create a metaphysical demonstration plan.

This week’s Fillmore talk was given on August 17, 1930, entitled God’s Will.

The focus is on some of the “enemies” we have in consciousness and what we can do about it. How do we shift from willfulness to the Power/Ability of Will focused from Supermind (Jehovah, I AM, Christ Mind). Then the stumbling blocks to demonstrating prosperity and their “work arounds” were explored followed by beginning to look out the keys to demonstration

Phil Pierson, Unity minister, joins Rev. Paul Hasselbeck to discuss the Twelve Powers. Is there a science behind these powers that needs to be explored? Phil shares the connection between his love of the Twelve Powers and his love of science.

This week we explored a talk given by Charles Fillmore on August 24, 1930, entitled “Human Love and Divine Love.” He metaphysically interprets Saul, David and Jonathan. It talks about subconscious Love and external love. At the end of this talk, Fillmore shares his belief that some day we will “eventually displace all separation, and we shall say, ‘This is the Father; what you see is God.’” Then we launch into the chapter on Metaphysical Basis of Prosperity.

This week we explore a talk given by Charles Fillmore on January 10, 1932, entitled “First Recognition of Subconscious Faculties.” This is an exploration of a few of the Twelve Powers and how we must develop them out of the subconscious mind so that we can move from John the Baptist, illumined intellect, to Jesus, Christ Consciousness. Then we launch into looking at the stumbling blocks to demonstrating health and wholeness.

This week explore a talk by Charles Fillmore from April 12, 1931. "The Two Undisciplined States of Consciousness" is Fillmore's metaphysical interpretation of the story of the Prodigal Son. Fillmore explores the two sons and what they mean. This is all in the context of Spirit-soul-body. Soul is the older son and body is the younger son. This is body consciousness. This then gives rise to the physical body.

This week we explore a talk by Charles Fillmore given on February 20, 1927, titled "Cooperation in Service." Charles talks about how salt is a purifier and preserver while light represents intelligence … and we need both. We must purify our thoughts and intelligently shine our light. He also talks about service in the church. We also launch into the metaphysics of wholeness and health, looking at Life, Intelligence, Substance, Love, Wholeness and Health.

This week we explore a lesson by Charles Fillmore given on October 15, 1922, entitled “Baptism.” Baptism, repentance and forgiveness are all about the change of mind. One aspect of baptism is cleansing or denial. We also explore a couple of e-mails received from listeners on reincarnation, the various flavors of Unity found around the country, the Lord's Prayer and the “Prayer for Protection.”

This week’s talk from Charles Fillmore is from Sunday, October, 26, 1913, entitled “Commandments: Duties to Men.” The focus in on the law, specifically commandments 5-10 of the Ten Commandments, and our duty to our fellow human beings. He emphasizes “the necessity of first living in the Absolute, realizing what the absolute condition is, then expressing it.” This is followed by a review of material in Chapter 28 on the “Stumbling Blocks and Keys to Demonstration from Metaphysics.

This week we look at a talk by Charles Fillmore delivered on April 25, 1926, titled "Cain and Abel." Fillmore metaphysically interprets these two brothers. Discover Cain as body consciousness and Abel as soul consciousness. Learn how to put Abel consciousness first so that you can rise above and include Cain consciousness. Then we continue our discussion of the Creative Process as metaphysically understood from Genesis 1.

On this program we review a talk by Charles Fillmore given on December 24, 1911, titled “The True Meaning of Christmas.” In it, Fillmore explores some of the meaning behind the literal story as well as the connections of the Christmas Story to pagan traditions. Then we wrap up the chapter on the Fourth Dimension.

This week we explore a class given by Charles Fillmore on May 30, 1923, entitled “Mind Action.” The focus is on the power of the mind and the power of meditation focusing on the word or words. Then there was a review and metaphysical reframing of the fire that occurred in my home. How do we use metaphysics to meet the troublesome areas of our lives? There is a strong focus in this class on Jesus Christ being here now. Then we move on to the chapters on the Twelve Powers.

The first segment focuses upon a talk given by Charles Fillmore on March 29, 1025 entitled “Redeemed Man.” Topics included in this talk are redemption, the Real Man and the Apparent Man as well as the importance of meditation, prayer and thought. This week’s chapter in the metaphysics text is the chapter on creation. Topics examined are: The Fundamentals of Creation, Divine Ideas, and The Process of Creation/Divine Order.

We explore Fillmore’s talk from Feb 10, 1924, “Courage and Fear.” Fillmore discusses the kingdom of heaven, where it is, what it is and our erroneous understanding of it. He also discusses the fears and blocks that keep us from living from this kingdom of heaven consciousness and how to overcome them. This is followed by a quick review of the Word followed by looking into Denials and Affirmations.

This week began with exploring a talk by Charles Fillmore entitled "Mastery of the Animal Forces." Then we launch into the threefold nature of humankind - Spirit, soul, body, beginning with an overview of the three phases of mind - Superconscious Mind, conscious mind and subconscious mind.

This week we explore a talk from Charles Fillmore given on June 26, 1923. The focus was on Fillmore’s view that Genesis 1 is about the creation (ideation) of the I Am, Jehovah God or Christ and not about the physical universe. We then wrap up review of the chapter in Metaphysics on Jesus, Christ, Jesus Christ and Christ Jesus.

This week we explore The Law of Giving and Receiving, Giving and Receiving Freely and The Law of Tithing.Then we wrap up the material on Sin, Evil and the Devil by exploring Hell, Hell as a Purifying Process and Heaven. During the remaining portion of the program begin an exploration of Jesus.

This week we explore the prosperity concepts of the Law of Increase and the Secondary Law of Increase. Then we launch into the chapter on Sin, Evil and the Devil. We delve into the origin of sin, and free will and sin.

Our prosperity teaching this week centered on the idea of Possession. Then we launched into the teachings on the Trinity from chapter 13 of the new metaphysics text. The Trinity is metaphysically interpreted to be Mind-Idea-Expression.

We romp with an e-mail about dreams and premonitions, followed with a prosperity teaching and end with more on Beingness, Oneness, Divine Mind.

Today we look at the phrase “Watch what you pray for, watch what you ask for.” Then we explore Unity’s take on praying with others. Just how do we pray with others using the Unity method?

The phrase we explore this week is “One door closes and another opens.” We answer an e-mail about thoughts an images being held in mind. This is followed by a wrap-up of the chapter on Unity’s Affirmative Prayer and a bit about Praying With Others.

Today’s phrase is “God will provide.” This is heard as a Divine Entity providing our simplest needs. This phrase was amped up to My Divinity, my Divine Mind, provides Divine Ideas. Next we look at what to do when a child is acting out and the support given has been ineffective. We then explore transitional theology for kids. We wrap up the program finishing the material on The Silence.

Today we explore the phrase “It’s up to God.” Yet another phrase that indicates we abdicate our power to a God that is micromanaging our existence. The phrase is changed to “It’s up to the real me.” You are the point of power in your life, in your consciousness. From e-mails, we explore what happens when we are indecisive, as well exploring similarities between Gnosis Christianity and Unity.

This week we explore the phrase “Spirit will direct.” Then a success story from a listener is shared followed by a summary of the chapter from the new metaphysics text on the Silence. Finally, we explore the metaphysical underpinnings of Unity’s prayer method.

The phrase of the week is "I am a spiritual being having a human experience" and "I am only human."  It is amped up to “I am Spiritual Beingness having a spiritual experience.”  We reviewed Metaphysics and Truth then launched “Life Is Consciousness.”

This week we investigate the phrases “Everything is happening as it should, and everything is working out for the best.” We also looked at the power of Life, what to do when someone lies about you, and more of the Unity I do not believe.

This week we explore the phrases “They will find us when they are ready; when the student is ready the teacher is there.” We explore whether Jesus’ life was predetermined or not, including one Rabbi’s view. Finally, the power of Strength is examined.

The saying of the week is “What goes around comes around” or the phrase “What you send out comes back to you.” This phrase was amped up to “What we send out is already in” or “What we send out we experience in the moment.” Topics this episode range from tithing to reincarnation, from not swallowing our thoughts and feelings to the importance of surfacing beliefs and thoughts that are fueling sickness.

This week we review the phrase “God is the invisible and the visible.” This is not such a commonly heard phrase unless you experience the Divine Science flavor of New Thought. And, even when devotees of Divine Science are pressed, they will concede that at least there are some aspects of the visible that are not God, namely disease. From a Unity perspective, this phrase would be simplified to “God is the invisible.” Or we could say “God is the invisible in the Absolute.” E-mail questions about the ego/personality and whether it was and is responsible for the crises in our world are addressed. The difference between A Course in Miracles view of the ego and how Unity views the ego is explored as well as the Power of Zeal.

This week we explored the phrases, “the call, the heard the call,” We could even include the scriptural reference, many are called, few are chosen. The replacement phrase would be something like, “I heard or hear my Inner call.” We then looked into the meaning of “thou should not kill” as well as explored the Power of Love. This Power is so much more than simply our “affectional” nature. It is the Power behind the Law of Mind Action and the Law of Attraction.

Metaphysical Romp will challenge you to stretch your thinking and your beliefs. Think and feel outside of the box. Dare to be a little uncomfortable so that you can learn to be the best Christ you can be.

This week we explore the phrase, “I’ll get there when I’m ready.” We change it to, “I’ll get there when I do my spiritual work,” or, “I’ll get there when I do my spiritual play!” We also explore the physical universe, intention and Spirit, soul, body, as well as a brief look at the powers Faith, Imagination and Will.

When I tell God my plan, God laughs. When God tells me His plan, I laugh.” This is all about an anthropomorphic God separate from us. The Truth is “we” are the Oneness, the flow of Illumination that is God/ Spirit. So God is the flow of wisdom and understanding that we are from which we know what to do. We also explore who we are praying to, respond to a question about how to handle uncomfortable reactions at work. Finally, the power of Judgment is reviewed.

This week we explore a cluster of phrases: “I’ll get in when I am supposed to. I’ll get it if I was meant to have it I guess I wasn’t meant to have it. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.” These were updated to: “I’ll get it when I support it. I’ll get it when I mean it. I guess I did not mean it.” The remainder of the program looks at “”Don’t worry, be happy,” regeneration and the spiritual soul and spiritual body as well as the power will.

This week we explore the commonly used phrase "It was an act of God." Again, it is all about a God outside causing disasters that we then have to deal with. The replacement phrase becomes something like "It was an effect of mass consciousness." Or, in a more general way, "It was an effect of error thought." The remainder of the program includes an exploration of the 12 Powers and their importance.

This week we romp through the two phrases, "I'm in the flow, and I'm not in the flow." The Truth is you are the flow. We also explore illness and disease and cause and effect. Because we are every oneness in mass consciousness, a person could be working on their own consciousness and still not cause a change in their own physical expression. This does not mean they have failed.

This weeks Unity phrase is “Things happen in their own time.” It is changed to “Things happen in our own time.” We also look once again at the crucifixion of Jesus, the Law of Attraction and a couple of examples from Rev. Hasselbeck’s life and how he uses Truth.

In this program we first explore the phrase “It’s all happening as it is supposed to happen.” This phrase is another one that abdicates our power. It assumes that there is a cosmic deity micromanaging the universe. The replacement phrase is “What happens, happens.” Then we launch into the physical universe, who or what created it? How did it happen and what can we do about.

“It is all happening and it is supposed to happen” is explored today. It is changed to “What happens happens.” And further, “What happens, happens by choice.” That choice is yours or someone else’s. The final word is not what happens. It is how we use what happens to prove there is One Power, One Presence. The link between visioning and spiritual treatment is explored as well as Unity’s view of angels. Finally, we look at the idea that humankind is experiencing events because God wants to experience them as It expands the universe.

We explore the saying “That which you seek is seeking you.” It gets modified to “That which you seek you already are.” Then we look at the difference between how Unity views itself as Christian and how traditional Christians view themselves as Christian. Finally, the Silence and meditation are examined.

This week show reviewed the saying, "What we resist persists." It is changed to, "What we resist in mind stays in mind." The remainder of the show focused on two topics. The first one was exploring the ego/personality in depth and what to do about it. The other was exploring how our personal choices in our Spiritual Growth affect others and what we can do about it. Some of this was explained in the context of chemicalization.

In this hour, we explore the concepts of divine appointment and divine timing. Divine plan and divine will are also explored. Along the way, the Absolute, the Relative and a bit about the Twelve Powers are looked at. At the end of the program, we begin to dive into a deeper understanding of the phrase "Let go, let God!"

During this program, the catch phrase, “We are the light of the world” is explored. The replacement phrase is “We illuminate the world.” E-mails from viewers include a discussion about God-Will in decision-making processes with regard to another catchphrase, “It’s already done in Spirit.” The specific example looked at is a church looking to hire a minister. Is it preordained or not? The topics of crucifixion and resurrection are also looked at literally and metaphysically.

This week’s phrase is “I’m right where I am supposed to be.” The power of choice explored as a natural progression from “I’m right where I am supposed to be.” Other topics explored are: Do we know if we make choices from the “other side” and is this important? New Age beliefs are cut through to simpler way of being. It is using everything, the good, the bad and the ugly, as a catalyst to wake up and be the best Christ you can be. It is using everything to create a blessing. Other topics explored are “The Secret” and the law of attraction, and finally, a metaphysical explanation of a quote from Charles Fillmore’s book “Jesus Christ Heals.”

This week’s phrase is “It is what it is” becomes “It is what I call it” or “It is what I name it.” The Power of the Word, the Absolute, Principle and how in the midst of the very Principle of Wholeness we manage to manifest illness. We are powerful beyond our wildest imaginings!

Phrase for this week: “Fake it until you make it!” This catch phrase is brought up to speed and replaced with “Faith it until you make it!” The program continues with Personality, Individuality and the Three Phases of Mind. A caller asks about Spirit, soul and body, and the purpose of life is explored.

The phrase, “We’re like a drop in the ocean” is delved into, and it is revealed that this metaphor breaks down because a drop can never be taken from God/Oneness. There is no such thing as a piece or part of God. The replacement phrase is “The allness of the Ocean is the each-ness of its droplets.” The remainder of the program discusses Christ, Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ Jesus, The Trinity and the Three Phases of Mind. The practical aspect of these teachings is revealed.

The phrase we metaphysically explore this week is “Divine Order.” As the program continues, the following topics are discussed: We are only responsible for changing what we are aware of, getting a balance between acting in a loving-kindness way and possibly being misunderstood by someone.

This program begins with a metaphysical look at the phrase “Hit by the cosmic 2 x 4” and a look at New Age and New Thought.
